PRIVACY POLICY
Tan Studio deeply respects your digital privacy. We clearly and transparently explain what data is stored and how you stay in full control of your data.
01. Privacy Pledge (Zero-Surveillance)
At Tan Studio, we believe great software does not require trading away user privacy:
- NEVER sell, rent or commercialize user data in any form.
- NEVER install cross-site tracking scripts or pixels.
- NEVER embed ad networks that covertly collect personal data.
02. Data We Process (and Don't)
We clearly separate the technical data types as follows:
- Midnight Bistro game data: Save game data, cooking level, recipe list, gold and audio settings are stored entirely in your browser's LocalStorage. This data is not sent to Tan Studio servers unless you actively choose a sync feature.
- Tools & extensions (YT Blocker, TTCP, SSH-Key-Tools): Executed directly on the client side. Configuration, security keys or action history never leave your device.
- Server logs: When you visit the website, the server records basic technical information (anonymized IP address, browser type, visited page, HTTP status code) to detect incidents and block DDoS attacks. These logs are automatically rotated and deleted after 14 days.
- Email contact: If you email info@tantn.com, we use your address only to reply and support your request. We never send spam or sell lists to third parties.
03. Cookies & Browser Storage (LocalStorage)
The Tan Studio website does not use third-party advertising tracking cookies. We only use browser storage for essential purposes:
sfx-muted: Remembers your on/off choice for interface sound effects (SFX).mb-save-*: Remembers Midnight Bistro game progress so you can continue when you return.nb_lang: Remembers your chosen language (English or Vietnamese).
04. Infrastructure & Third-Party Providers
To deliver the website quickly and securely, we rely on trusted network infrastructure:
- GitHub Pages / GitHub: Hosts the open-source code repositories and technical documentation.
- Cloudflare / Caddy Web Server: Provides HTTPS/SSL encryption, security certificates and firewall filtering against denial-of-service attacks.
These infrastructure providers only process network packets under global internet technical standards and comply with international security regulations.
05. Protection of Minors
Games and content developed by Tan Studio are aimed at developers and gamers of all ages, and promote creativity and healthy entertainment. We contain no harmful content, no disguised gambling mechanics, and we do not knowingly collect any identifying data from children under 13.
06. Your Control Over Your Data
You always have full control over your digital data:
- The right to know in detail which technical data is processed.
- The right to completely delete local save game data in your browser.
- The right to ask questions about the security of the open-source projects on GitHub.
07. Policy Updates & Contact
This privacy policy takes effect in 2026 and may be adjusted to reflect new security improvements. When we make material changes, we will clearly update this page.
